Glen grew up in Mason, Texas, where his family roots date back to the 1860s. He attended Texas A&M University and was an accomplished collegiate meats and livestock evaluator. Glen is married to Rae Ann and they've raised four daughters through the ranching lifestyle.

The Martin family raises competitive show goats, cattle, and Dorper sheep, and his girls have won grand or reserve grand at more than 60 major livestock shows nationwide.
