To recap, the 75th edition of the awards show was pushed last year from its usual September slot to January 2024 on account of the writers' and actors' strikes.

However, all television shows, limited series, or made-for-TV film entries at the 76th annual Emmy Awards this Sunday must have been released between June 1, 2023, and May 31, 2024, in order to be in consideration for this year's ceremony hosted by father-son duo Eugene and Dan Levy and airing on ABC from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

FX's hit series The Bear went into the show as the most-nominated comedy series in Emmys history with a record-breaking 23 nominations for its second season, and won three of the first four awards given out with comedy wins for Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Jeremy Allen White, and Liza Colón-Zayas.
